Leah and Austin's wedding at Millstone Farm in September was a fairy tale event from start to finish.
The bride had three beautiful dresses to wear throughout the days events from ceremony to cocktail party and reception to dashing off for her honeymoon. The weather and setting were ideal for the creations that Katherine and her amazing team from Botanica constructed, created and executed that day.
From the church pews and white wire chairs in the field for the ceremony to the cocktail hour with flowing white drapes hanging from a custom trellis, not to mention the back drop of shelves adorned with candles and flowers made out of reclaimed wood from the Brides grandmothers barn. The reception tent was a mix of long and round tables with elegant linens in dupioni silk and chandeliers over the dance floor and bar area with pin spot lighting creating added drama by Marisa and team from Social Decor.
The menu was a surprise from Tim LaBant Catering. They wanted a farm to fork dinner inspired by Tim LaBant and that is exactly what they got. An amazing, fresh from the farm, meal that captured the time of year in a delectable manner.
Harpist Kristi Shade played thoughtful selections for the ceremony, Griff Anthony played beautiful and tasteful guitar music during the cocktail hour and Scratch DJ Bent got everyone on the dance floor for the rest of the night.
The cake, was a splendid creation by Nicole from With Love from the Cupboard Bakery and Trisha Keeler Photography captured every moment so that we don't forget what a beautiful day everyone had. xo
