Plan A and Plan B

When you are planning your event that has an outdoor component, you are envisioning that all the weather conditions surrounding your day will be ideal but the hard truth is that you have to consider the not so ideal conditions and be prepared!

Whether (weather) you are using a planner or you are a DIY bride/party organizer, you will need to seriously consider your alternative plans in the event the weather turns ugly. The key to the alternative plan is that you need to love it as much as your original plan.

A few things to consider is that you must budget for this plan in the beginning, as it may add some costs to your event and you don't want to be in a rush trying to put a plan together in the last minute, because that will be more expensive. With rental companies, there will be a cost to reserve items that you may not use but consider it an insurance plan and piece of mind.

Make sure to share your plan well in advance with all vendors from floral designers to the caterer and musicians, as everyone will need to be considered in the plan. Once you decide to implement your plan let all your vendors know ASAP so that the plan will go smoothly.
